Well I was going to post some pictures, but Alma saved them as a word document so that is causing some problems I will try with some help after breakfast!
Well, big news from Nevada City! We made an offer on a house yesterday and it was accepted in three hours. It is in the right school district and the right ward and couldn't be better! We are so excited. It means if all goes well we will be moving with a 2 week old, but we had to jump when the right house came along. So after a search of 1 1/2 years we are finally here! Must run if any pancakes are going to be left for me and Coen at Grandma and Grandpas.

I guess I am starting this little project due to the tremendous peer pressure that everyone else has a blog and I need one too. The real reason is that there are so many people I love and never get to see and maybe this will help us keep in touch a little. So I will assume If you are reading this you already know and love me (because frankly if you don't why on earth would you care?!?).

I am in love with being on maternity leave, but not in love with being almost nine months pregnant. As the due date looms closer and closer (19 days!) the stress of having no name for this baby just continues to grow. Today currently he is being refered to as Beckett Dieter Clove but I don't think this is it. Frankly what kind of horrible parents would name a kid Dieter? Even though I love it for various reasons- okay only because of Dieter Uchtdorf- I feel like it is something Becky and Nick would pick and they are evil. Evil= naming your child Charlie Brown or Sophia Olivia Brown just so you could call her your little SOB. These are the kind of names you get when two thirteen year old boys name kids (which truthfully pretty well describes Becky and Nick). The other names considered are really endless, and I like a lot of names so this poor unnamed baby can blame his predicament on Alma the pickiest man on earth.

For those of you that don't know Alma well a brief look at his psyche. Alma is the most opinionated man on earth. I should have known when he had strong opinions about flower girl dresses I was marrying someone different from all the other men I knew. Alma has an opinion about everything and is always right, always. How anyone can feel so strongly about a stand mixer when in our entire marriage I have never seen him use a mixer is a mystery to me, but that is my darling dearest. Alma has no qualms about sharing his opinion or correcting yours. In his defence he does have some absolutely wonderful qualities as well. He is by far the nicer member of our marriage. (so that isn't to hard to achieve) He is incredibly thankful and tender. He is the cutest Dad ever. He works really hard. He is also super faithful and diligent. So I put up with a few opinions!

As many of you know we are house hunting, which with the most opinionated man on the planet is quite and experience. Our real estate agent is a saint for having to put up with us (and by us I mean Alma). Every house is torn apart and criticized. It makes me crazy but Monty (the saint) joins right in. Alma wants to build a home, but I want to be married in five years so won't agree. We are not good at decisions and I can just see the two of us fighting over every light fixture and door knob. Let us be honest- we couldn't even register for our wedding with out getting into a fight about the hand towels for the kitchen. Did I mention earlier that Alma is the most opinionated man on earth.

A little about the other opinionated man in my life Coen Dean Clove. Coen is actually really enjoyable right now. Other than the odd two year old moment he is a joy to have in our home. This morning he crawled into bed with us and cuddled a little bit. He kept patting our cheeks and kissing us and saying "Happy happy happy!". How can that do anything but melt your heart!
He is a funny little kid who currently loves to growl and chase and climb. He is all boy and can name all the different kind of balls but isn't to clear on which ones are kicked or thrown ect. He does get a little bit from his mother and is very particular about his shoes and which go with which outfit and can almost always be bribed with the promise of getting to wear shoes. He also looks like my side of the family. Alma's aunt recently told me she hopes this new baby will at least look like a Clove.

That is a current little snapshot of our life right now. Maybe I will even update this after the unnamed baby cames along.
