More Popsicle Pictures
I just can't resist- especially when they are sitting on thier little scooters.
Oh and we got haircuts.
This is Coen's face he makes now when you say cheese. sigh
Happy face
Not so happy face.
And on a totally different not- just took a walk in the cemetary- and lots of great photo ops, but the lighting was awful so maybe tonight on my way home from taking Liz's engagement photos I will have to sto and take a few shots.

I let our 7th anniversary pass without comment. Shame on me. Shame, shame.
On our wedding day I had no idea how much Alma would make me laugh, or shake my head in disbelief. Living with him is always an adventure - you never quite know what is going to come out of his mouth.
I love how sweet and tender he is. He is surprises me all the time with his thoughtfullness. I wouldn't want to be on this journey with any one else. I love the life we are building together. I am proud of the love that we have nurtured and share with one another.
And is there anything more amazing than seeing the man you love with your children. I never imagined how amazing this would be. I just didn't have a clue.
Thank you Alma for 7 great years. Here is to an eternity together.
So tonight I was reading Nie Nie's blog and pointed something out to Alma. And he gave me that look. That look that says he thinks I am a lunatic for crying over people I don't know. And I said "I know, I know you don't want to hear it." And Alma responded, "Honey I can start investing emotionally in them if you want me to stop investing emotionally in you."
Classic Alma.
Classic Alma.

Well- today was a great lazy day. We went to the fair- ahhh Job's Daughters Corn Dogs. Then a lazy afternoon home. We watched a lot of movies. Now I am trying to clean the house a little so I don't have a heart attack when I get up in the morning. Over all a good day. But no camera for the fair trip- when I realized at the last minute that the batteries weren't charged both Coen and Alma cheered very loudly about the camera free trip. Humph!
Tomorrow is linger longer- and because I am sick and tired of there being no where near enough food I am bringing two entrees- get with it people! There wouldn't be such a swarmy feeding frenzy if everyone knew they would get some food- but as it is every month the poor saps at the back of the line end up with some scattered wilted lettuce, a little brown rice and what ever they can scrape off the edges of the casserole dishes- yes- every month I see some poor sap scraping off the edge of some lasagna pan for what ever crusted cheese and sauce they can add to the three leaves of lettuce on their plate. Sad, sad, sad. I may feel as strongly about this as I do immunizations.

WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD
Here are some pictures from our camping trip. We had a great time, even with 4 toddlers. Fair warning I did no editing due to my intense need for a nap in the next few minutes.
Fast asleep at the end of a hike.
TJ, Beckett, and Coen- same hike.
TJ, Beckett, and Coen- same hike.
Luke and Coen watching the elephant seals. I am pretty sure they are just climbing on rocks and the adults are looking at the seals.
Emily and Coen on hike- I know, I know there are some sequential difficulties- I don't feel like editing in html the only way to fix it at this point. So cope.
The Ladies
It is fun to hike with people who will swing you endlessly- unlike mom who stops after the 10th time.
The girls in a rare moment of sisterly love? or possible attempted homicide.
I just included this so I had a picture of me in the sun hat I sewed this summer. Because it is awesome. Not that this picture gives it justice.

Isn't that hair unreal?

This picture shows how mature and secure I am to post this with me- all of me- in the background. That is an utter lie. I am suffering a painful slow death inside at the thought of anyone seeing it- but I couldn't not post this darling photo of Coen since lately he has been shunning the camera.
Do you remember the joy of chasing waves?

Luke Duke
Again with the sequential issues.
Beckett laid down in the sand, blanket and all for a nap.

Do you ever put off something and keep putting it off and then you are a little overwhelmed by all the work ahead of you. Yes- that is how I feel about the pollywogblog. I have a huge pile of books to review and an even bigger pile I have already forgotten that I have read and the pile of to reads by the bed is taking over my side of the bedroom. Who are we joking that pile is always slowly trying to creep its way onto the bed, and chair and smothers the bedside table (okay it is really a vintage suitcase, not a table) on a regular basis. So maybe I will sit down and work on it- but it will have to be after I get back from the coast and probably San Francisco too.
Did I mention I am taking off for the ocean with the boys and my best teen girl friend Emily? Yeah we are meeting Becky, Marika and TJ in Cambria and camping next week. I will rush home and work my grueling day and a half work schedule. Then Friday afternoon Alma and I are going to head to the city for our anniversary. That is if I ever get around to seeing if Dad and Holly will babysit- oh and call Ray and see if the condo is available. Every time we go I have a long list of things I want to do and see. But do we do any of it? No. No shopping in Laurel Heights, or West Portal. No De Young, no bike rides on my favorite trails in Golden Gate Park. No we just sit in the condo and watch the boats go by. We wake up late, wander down to the farmers market on the Embarcadero, stroll around, maybe lunch at the Fog City Diner. Dinner is the only part we actually make happen (we are a little food motivated and debate and plan a lot where we are going to eat). And then back to the condo to stare out of the floor to ceiling windows. I could sit there all day long.
