So I have been feeling a little crafty.
I think I am getting my mojo back.
You see I have been in a little slump lately.
I take that back- it has been a big slump.
It has been months and months- well since April.
And I have felt like I was living in a fog- just surviving.
I didn't know how to come back.
Alma has been waiting for his wife to come back.
And I think she is starting to peak her head out of the hole she has been hiding in.
I am starting to read again- and wanting to craft.
And trying to enjoy my every day moments.
I don't know if it just wanting to move on- or that I scheduled my time at The Meadows and I know I am getting ready to move on.
ANYWAYS- back to the reason I started to post anyways.
I am crafting again.
And I have had these left over beads hanging around since the last Relief Society craft day- and yes I lose money every time I put one of these together. I don't want to hear anymore about it Becky and Alma.
Soooo- I made these necklaces.
But now I don't have anything to do with them. Well I already gave one to Jessica for her birthday- it was teal with a gray ribbon very cute. I also made her a cute little crocheted flower head band and some blue silk clips.
But I do have a deep love of comments on the blog.
It is the desperate insecure giant 13 year old that is my psyche.
I really love comments.
So I will mail these to the three best comments left.
And Becky you will not be chosen.
Unless your comment is amazing.
Because you never leave comments unless you are teasing the pimply 13 y/o.
They are really cute- i think you would like them.
So feel free to leave a comment with a joke or with lavish praise.

I will not leave a great comment because I don't even know what a great comment entails. However, those bugs you made with Coen are AWESOME!! My kids would love to do that. Did you use a glue gun??
Also, the temp dropped at night and immediately three of my children's facial skin started turning red and/or bleeding. Any ideas? I've tried lots of different lotions but every year, inevitably, they go through the winter with terrible rashy skin on their faces.
Glad you are coming out of your hole. I haven't. This pregnancy has been horrible. I want another boy and another girl (including whatever this baby is), but I'm pretty done with being pregnant. When you start to hate the sight of your existing children, it might be time to stop. Hmm.
Love you though. If I get too desperate, I might just turn up at your door one day and say, "I brought you four extra children with whom to make monsters." And you will smile and hug me and usher me in, and Alma will cry. Can't blame him.

I'm a comment whore myself. Glad to see the crafting bug appear again. You are amazing. I feel like I'm just getting back to myself as well. Reading, crocheting, etc.
What is The Meadows? I have to admit that a quote from So I married an axe murderer came to came to mind:
Stuart Mackenzie: Well, it's a well known fact, Sonny Jim, that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as the Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows.
Tony Giardino: So who's in this Pentavirate?
Stuart Mackenzie: The Queen, the Vatican, the Gettys, the Rothschilds, and Colonel Sanders before he went tets-up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee beady eyes! And that smug look on his face, "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"
Love you
Polly I'm so excited to see that you're back into your crafting again! These necklaces are downright beautiful, and far more classy than ones you could buy, so don't lose sleep over money wasted. Besides, only now could you put those dorky little fake tags on them that say "made with love". Ha ha... But really, they are SO you. I love how sometimes I'll be out window shopping and come across something REALLY gaudy and awesome, skip past it, and then come back, thinking, "Polly could TOTALLY pull this off!". If only we all had your bodacious curves and lavish personality to pull off such awesomeness. *sigh*
And it's nice to see that you're passing on your craftiness (that kind've makes you sound like a bank robbing villan!) to Coen! I'm sure his bugs will find lots of happy homes. Maybe they will even scare off the litter bugs!
I hope you get lots more comments! I know it feels good to know people take the time to read your blog. (yours is always interesting- I loved the pirate viedeo btw!) Also- give me a ring if you ever have some time to talk...I may be a crazy college student but I still like to hear from you!
Love you, Polly!
Polly.......you rock my world.....and your crafts rock too....and so do Coen's cuz he's a rockin' little guy (especially making sure he only pooped on HIS special blankie).....keep up the great craftin'....rock star!
Luvs to ya, Peace Out! Yo yo! ; )

Polly, I will leave a comment because you have stated how much you love them, NOT because I want a necklace. I am so glad that your beautiful spirit is emerging from the fog, and that you are doing things that make you happy. Even when you are in a slump, you continue to radiate sunshine on those around you. I am so lucky to know you and to be able to bask in your light.
Love, Kathy
You did tell me that you were picking based on what the comment said. Don't most pick randomly? Well these few things to ponder are the best I could come up with.
Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?
What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?
If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?
OK...so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags"
and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs",
What does that make the Tennessee Titans ?
If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea... does that mean that one enjoys it?
I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks
so I wondered what do Chinese mothers use? Toothpicks?
That's all I got for you and they aren't even my original thoughts....i stole them from someone else. :)
I sincerely hope that some time at the Meadows will help put some things into place for you. I'm sorry that you have so much going on with your mom. I wish I could come give you a big hug and then have a craft night together while we watch Lark Rise to Candleford. And eat some KFC in honor of the colonel. I'll just have to rely on Alma and the boys to give you lots of hugs since I'm so far away.
I love all the necklaces. I wish I had your energy! My fav is the chunky pink one.
