Gratitude Day #5

Ever since I was a little girl the Thanksgiving table was set with a little bean on everyone's plate. Before the meal and after the blessing we would all pick up our little bean and say what we were thankful for that year. Why a bean- I don't know- I'm not even aware of any symbolism. Since we eat today at the Cloves I will have no little bean. So here I am holding my figurative bean- more than anything at all I am thankful for my eternal marriage. That seems to wrap up in one little package my overwhelming love and gratitude for my family and the gospel. So hold your little bean today (real or imagined) and express gratitude to God.
